Sketch of our upcoming art

Today, Khin Linn and I created a sketch of our painting that we are planning to recreate for our upcoming Art Exhibition. We did this on a A3 paper and used felts with water. This is what it would sort of look like but we are planning to add people. 

Artist Studies

 

For Term 4, Room 11's focus for Art Exhibition is creating creations by cultural artists. Before we create anything we must learn about the art, Khin Linn and I decided to create a painting from a Burmese artist. Here is our plan! 

Identity Cardboard Sihouettes

 

Room 11 have been doing some identity art and we started creating cardboard silhouettes. This my face and I used cardboard and the back of Maths books. I love the outcome of mine. Enjoy!

The Grinch Pop Up

Today Room 11 worked on our Dr. Seuss pop ups. Here is my mine with my writing and drawings. I picked his house, a Christmas tree, presents and his dog Max to represent the Grinch. Here is the finished product. 

Mon Instrument

Today we learnt about instruments that are from our cultures. We learnt about what they sounded like and what they are used for. Me, Wint, Khin Linn, Tracey and Sar Yar Chan learnt about the Saung Gauk. Here is my learning. Enjoy!

Cartoonify Yourself!

This morning we had a task to cartoonify ourselves. We had to take a picture of us then use a tool in googles drawing to cartoonify ourselves. I used the tools poly line and curve to create my drawing. This is how mine turned out. Enjoy!

Identity Silhouette

This is a slide I created for the question I had to answer. The questions were about art. We will then use these answers for our artwork that we will create. Here are my answers. Enjoy!

Identity Mindmap

This is the art I had to do for Identity mindmap. We had to identify 5 to 6 things that make me as a person. I chose to do my interests, dreams, religion, values, appearance and family. I then did some drawings that explain who I am and what I love. 

Steampunk Ideas

Today for tech when started on coming up with ideas we could do for our steampunk creations. I came up with make a Bracelet and Goggles. Unfortunately this was our last class with Mr Grundy but I loved it. Enjoy!

Mother's Day Art

Today I finished off my Mother's Day artwork ready for Sunday. I outlined the shapes then made some origami butterflies. I am super happy and proud. Enjoy!

Working on Mother's Day Gift

Today for L,C,S Miss Tupou wanted us to create some art for Mothers Day. I did a painting using some paint and watercolor. This a photo of me and my mum while visiting Waikato. I chose to do something really simple but it turned out great. It is not done yet but come back to see the finish product.

Connections Photo Album

This is a photo album of some things that are important for me and my family. This is a Inquiry task where we tested our photography skills. I think I did a great job photographing things that are important to me. Check out my Connections photo album! 

Spiral Art

For Tamariki Talks we had to complete 2 challenges given by them. For my first challenge I tried to do the Spiral Art. I really enjoyed creating this piece of art! It was a bit challenging but worth it in the end. Enjoy!

My Anzac art

Here is my painting I did for Anzac art. I painted a poppy using watercolor paint then wrote "Lest We Forget" at the bottom. Anzac day is a day where we remember all the soldiers who fought for our country. I make this painting as a tribute to them. Enjoy!. 

Inspiring Hopes

Leonardo Da Vinci

Today's historical figure is Leonardo Da Vinci. He is very famous for his paintings like the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. I learnt facts and what he did as a person. If you are interested take a look of the work I've produced about him. Enjoy!

Fun Friday's Art

Today I created some art. I had spare canvas so I decided to do some painting. I also add origami butterflies to give it an 3D effect. I also doodle on the canvas so that it won't look so bland. I hope you enjoy my painting that I did as much as I did creating it. Stay Safe!

Today I visited the Louvre which is located in Paris. I look into the famous and familiar painting which is The Mona Lisa. I learnt more about the painting just from reading facts so I hope you can too. Enjoy learning more about The Mona Lisa!
