This week, Room 11 did some research on some History. We all got to choose a topic then provide some information. I choose to do Black Slavery. Here is my research on Black Slavery. Enjoy!

Ancient Egypt Research

On Tuesday, Room 11 look at a video which explains a lot of the Ancient Egypt civilization. We then had to answer the questions that were given. Once we have completed answering the questions we went to do our connections task. Room 11 thought of New Zealand and thought of some significant historical events that helped shaped NZ. We then picked a events that happened in New Zealand and present our finding on it. Enjoy!

Escape the Tomb

This week Room 11 is going to look at the Ancient Egypt civilization. For Monday we complete a task which required us to escape the tomb. In the task you had to answer questions that will help you escape. Once you have completed the task you are free. Here is my slide where my answers are. 

'Aho'eitu

This is the second reading task I did today. This story was about the youngest son of Tagaloa. It was a 26 minute film and was very enjoyable. I learnt heaps about this legend. Enjoy

Telesa

This is the first reading task for today. The first story is about Telesa. There are different questions from the Daily 5 questions. I really like this story because of how interesting the story is. Enjoy!

The Samoan Fale

This is the work I did on the Samoan Fale. This story was very interesting and I loved it. I watched the video and answered the question. This also a daily 5 tasks and it is listening to reading. 

Leonardo Da Vinci

Today's historical figure is Leonardo Da Vinci. He is very famous for his paintings like the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. I learnt facts and what he did as a person. If you are interested take a look of the work I've produced about him. Enjoy!

Alexander the Great

For today's historical figure I chose to do some work on Alexander the Great. He is truly one famous Greek king. I research facts about him and who he is known for. I hope you can learn as much as I did about Alexander the Great. Enjoy!

Princess Diana

This week Room 11 will be working on Historical Figures. One historical figure that I adore and look up to is Princess Diana. She has a beautiful and caring heart and does things what her heart tells her to. She definitely wasn't your average royal but did things her own way. She stood up for what she believed without backing down. She was truly the People's Princess. Here is my work for Monday. Enjoy!
